Gold rose on Wednesday as a weaker dollar and easing Treasury yields, coupled with soft U.S. inflation data, strengthened expectations of a Federal Reserve rate cut in September and boosted bets on further easing this year. Spot gold climbed 0.3% to $3,355.58 per ounce, while December U.S. gold futures closed 0.3% higher at $3,408.30.
