5 mutual funds had over Rs 10,000 crore cash in their portfolio in July

Equity mutual fund cash holdings rose to 5.20% of total AUM in July, up from 5.08% in June.

SBI MF had the largest cash pile at Rs 34,592 crore (4.75% of AUM), followed by ICICI Pru MF at Rs 27,999 crore (5.98%) and HDFC MF at Rs 27,031 crore (6.43%).

PPFAS MF had the highest cash ratio at 21.36% of its AUM.

Some fund houses, including Zerodha MF and Angel One MF, held minimal cash below Rs 1 crore.
