The company claimed the report used publicly available data, selectively presented to mislead readers and manipulate market sentiment.

Vedanta questioned the timing of the report, suggesting it may be aimed at disrupting upcoming corporate initiatives.

It urged stakeholders to ignore speculation, reaffirming its focus on business growth and labelling the report as opinion-based, not factual.
