PNB Q1 profit drops 48% YoY to Rs 1,675 cr on higher tax outgo.
Total income rises 16% YoY to Rs 37,232 cr; interest income up.
Gross NPAs improve to 3.78% vs 4.98% YoY; net NPAs at 0.38%.
Provisions fall sharply to Rs 323 cr vs Rs 1,312 cr YoY.
