Oil slips as Trump’s new tariffs raise demand concerns

Oil prices declined on Thursday as expanded tariff measures announced by U.S. President Donald Trump sparked worries over global economic growth and energy demand. Brent crude futures fell 22 cents, or 0.31%, to $69.97 a barrel.
