HAL bags ISRO contract to build Small Satellite Launch Vehicles under tech transfer deal

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has secured the contract to manufacture India’s Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) after winning ISRO’s technology transfer bid, beating out consortiums led by Adani Group’s Alpha Design and Bharat Dynamics Ltd.
