China, HK stocks advance, driven by biotech and rare earth shares

China and Hong Kong stocks rose on Wednesday, lifted by biotech and rare earth shares amid easing U.S.-China trade concerns.
CSI 300 and Shanghai Composite gained 0.4%; Hang Seng climbed 0.6%, led by a 3.2% jump in healthcare stocks.
Rare earth, 5G, and brokerage shares rallied on optimism over a potential U.S.-China leaders’ call.
Analysts expect markets to remain rangebound amid ongoing macro and trade uncertainties.
