Sebi bans former IndusInd executives over insider trading allegations

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has prohibited former IndusInd Bank CEO Sumant Kathpalia, former deputy CEO Arun Khurana, and three other executives from trading in the securities market. The ban follows allegations of insider trading linked to accounting irregularities that they were reportedly aware of over a year before the information was disclosed to shareholders and the public.
