Gold June futures on MCX opened higher for the fourth straight session, rising by Rs 635 or 0.66% to Rs 96,234 per 10 grams, supported by a weaker dollar index and ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
Silver July futures also jumped Rs 719 or 0.73% to Rs 98,964 per kg, extending gains for the third consecutive session.
