Travel booking platform EaseMyTrip on Wednesday refuted allegations against its founder and chairman, Nishant Pitti, in connection with the Mahadev app betting case. The company called the accusations "entirely baseless, misleading, and lacking factual merit."
Pitti has reportedly been named in a probe involving a network of individuals accused of using illicit gains from the Mahadev betting operations to manipulate the stock prices of 25 listed companies, allegedly in coordination with some promoters.
In April, the Enforcement Directorate conducted searches at Pitti's premises as part of a broader multi-state investigation linked to the Mahadev app-related money laundering case.
