Continental Petroleums reported a sharp 76% drop in net profit to Rs 34 lakh for the March quarter, citing heightened price fluctuations, weaker export demand, and tariff-related pressures. In the same quarter last year, the company had posted a profit of Rs 1.41 crore.
Despite the profit decline, operating income rose to Rs 26.86 crore in Q4 FY2025 from Rs 18.82 crore a year earlier. The company, which is also involved in the power transmission and distribution EPC segment, said its performance in Q3 and Q4 was marginally impacted by these external challenges.
