China stocks dip after three-day winning steak

Chinese stocks declined after a three-day rally, as investors assessed fresh economic data and looked for cues amid easing U.S.-China trade tensions. Hong Kong shares also slipped slightly.

By midday, the blue-chip CSI300 Index was down 0.6%, the Shanghai Composite dropped 0.4%, and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index edged 0.3% lower.
