Nvidia faces $5.5 billion charge as US restricts chip sales to China

Nvidia announced on Tuesday that it will incur $5.5 billion in charges after the U.S. government mandated export licenses for its H20 artificial intelligence chip—a top-selling product—in order to sell it to China.
