Axis Bank shares fall over 3% after Q4 results

Axis Bank shares declined by 4% to hit a low of Rs 1,158 on the BSE on Friday despite the private lender posting better-than-expected results for the March quarter. The bank reported a net profit of Rs 7,117.5 crore for Q4, nearly unchanged from Rs 7,123 crore in the same quarter last year, but above the ET NOW poll estimate of Rs 6,681 crore.
