6 mutual funds had over Rs 10,000 crore cash in their portfolios in March

 


Mutual funds’ cash holdings rose by Rs 18,061 crore in March to Rs 2.05 lakh crore, with cash allocation up to 5.86% of AUM.
SBI MF led with Rs 38,380 crore in cash, followed by ICICI Prudential MF (Rs 26,200 crore) and HDFC MF (Rs 22,474 crore).
PPFAS MF had the highest cash-to-AUM ratio at 21.86%, signaling a cautious stance.
Motilal Oswal and Axis MFs also held sizable cash, indicating selective deployment amid market volatility.
