The Russian rouble fell 1% to 84.75 against the dollar as markets awaited US-Russia talks' outcome in Saudi Arabia. Despite this dip, the rouble remains up 25% in 2025, driven by hopes of a Ukraine peace deal. Against the Chinese yuan, it gained 0.3% to 11.57.
