Vodafone Idea (VIL) announced on Friday that it has received a GST demand order of Rs 16.73 crore from the Deputy Commissioner of the Large Taxpayer Unit, West Bengal.
The telecom operator stated that it disagrees with the order and intends to take appropriate steps to file an appeal. The company disclosed the details of the order in a BSE filing, confirming it was received on February 27, 2025, under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
