China's central bank adds more gold to its reserves in December

China's central bank increased its gold reserves for the second consecutive month in December, reaching 73.29 million troy ounces, up from 72.96 million in November. However, the value of China's gold reserves fell to $191.34 billion from $193.43 billion over the same period, according to data from the People's Bank of China.
