Federal Bank shares rise over 7%

The lender reported an 11% increase in net profit, reaching Rs 1,057 crore in the September quarter, compared to Rs 954 crore in the same period last year. Total income for the quarter rose to Rs 7,541 crore, up from Rs 6,186 crore a year ago.
