The surge of initial public offerings (IPOs) on Dalal Street in 2024, yielding an average return of about 47%, has shattered an unhealthy 11-year record where offer for sale (OFS) exceeded fresh issues.
Since 2012, a year with only 11 IPOs, there has been a consistent trend favoring OFS in subsequent years.
