The Nifty50 benchmark equity index reached a new all-time high of 25,129.6 on Wednesday, closing slightly above its previous close, fueled by continued gains in IT stocks.
Meanwhile, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 74 points, or 0.09%, to close at 81,785—just 0.4% shy of its own record high of 82,129. The broader NSE Nifty also surged 34 points, or 0.14%, ending the day at a record closing high of 25,052.
