India minting 1 billionaire every 5 days, total count crosses triple century

In line with the trend of increasing wealth among the affluent, India created a new billionaire every five days over the past year, bringing the total number of US dollar billionaires to over 300 for the first time. The 2024 Hurun India Rich List reveals that the country now boasts 334 billionaires, an increase of 75 from the previous year.
