China stocks close lower as investors weigh recovery, await policy





On Tuesday, Chinese stocks ended lower while Hong Kong shares advanced, with investors assessing domestic economic recovery prospects and anticipating signals on stimulus from upcoming policy meetings.


At the close, China's CSI300 index, which includes blue-chip stocks, decreased by 0.18%. Within the index, the financial sector rose by 0.83%, consumer staples gained 1.63%, real estate declined by 2.04%, and healthcare was down by 1%.
