Vodafone likely sells 19% stake in Indus Tower via Rs 17,000 crore block deal





On Wednesday, UK-based telecom operator Vodafone PLC reportedly sold a significant portion of its stake in Indus Towers through block deals. Market data indicated that 53.3 crore shares, equivalent to 19% equity in the company, were traded in large transactions valued at approximately Rs 17,000 crore.


This transaction marks a substantial divestment by Vodafone PLC in Indus Towers, suggesting strategic maneuvers or financial restructuring by the company in the telecom sector.
