Oil prices edged up on Wednesday following positive outlooks on global demand from both the U.S. Energy Information Administration and OPEC.
Brent crude futures saw a slight increase of 11 cents, or 0.1%, reaching $82.04 per barrel at 0016 GMT. Similarly, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures experienced a modest gain of 18 cents, or 0.2%, settling at $78.10.
