Nifty Bank snaps 2-day losing streak but failed to close above 50,000

The Nifty Bank closed in the green on Wednesday but failed to hold on to 50K level, now a crucial resistance. The index rose 189 points to close at 49,895 while the Nifty50 rose 58 points to close at 23,322.
