The Nifty Bank recouped losses to close above 49700 on Tuesday and now a close above 50,000 could fuel a short covering move in the index, suggest experts.The Nifty Bank fell 75 points to close at 49,705 while the Nifty50 closed flat but with a positive bias at 23,264.AU Small Finance Bank, SBI, PNB and Federal Bank closed with gains while some selling was seen in Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
