Japan's Nikkei falls as caution sets in before key central bank decisions

 




On Wednesday, Japan's Nikkei share average experienced a decline, primarily influenced by losses in prominent market players like Fast Retailing, amidst prevailing caution preceding policy decisions from the U.S. and Japanese central banks.


The Nikkei concluded the day 0.66% lower at 38,876.71, following two consecutive sessions of gains. Meanwhile, the broader Topix also retreated by 0.73%, closing at 2,756.44.
