Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) shares advanced 14.5% to Rs 292 in Thursday's trade after the company received thermal power project orders, including one from Adani Power. BHEL received a substantial order worth over Rs 3,500 crore from Adani Power (APL) to establish a 2x800 MW thermal power plant (TPP) in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. As part of the contract, BHEL will supply equipment such as boilers, turbines, generators, and related auxiliaries, and will also oversee the commissioning of the power project utilizing supercritical technology.
