Dubai's sovereign wealth fund ICD posts 68% jump in 2023 profit





The Investment Corporation of Dubai, the primary investment entity of the Dubai government, announced a 68% surge in its net profit for 2023, driven by strong performance in its transportation, banking, and financial services sectors. ICD, which holds stakes in Emirates airline, Emirates NBD bank, Emaar Properties, and Emirates National Oil Company, achieved a record net profit of 60.8 billion dirhams ($16.56 billion). Out of this, 10.4 billion dirhams was attributable to non-controlling interests.
