On Tuesday, Japan's Nikkei share average dropped almost 2%, reaching an eight-week low, mirroring Wall Street's technology stock declines. The Nikkei closed at 38,471.20, down 1.94%, its lowest since Feb. 21, with an intraday dip of 2.3%. The broader Topix also fell by 2.04% to 2,697.11.
