Whirlpool India Q3 Results: Net profit jumps 13% YoY to Rs 27.99 crore on higher demand for white goods

Whirlpool of India Ltd reported a nearly 13% jump in its third-quarter profit on Friday, supported by upbeat domestic demand for white goods.

Consolidated net profit rose to Rs 27.99 crore in the quarter ended December 31, from Rs 24.69 crore a year earlier.

Revenue from operations in Whirlpool's Indian unit rose nearly 18% to 15.36 billion rupees for the first time in four quarters.
