Tokyo stocks traded slightly higher on Thursday thanks to a cheaper yen despite overnight falls on Wall Street.The benchmark Nikkei 225 index opened lower but quickly rose into positive territory, adding 0.09 percent, or 33.42 points, to 35,511.17 in early trade, while the broader Topix index added 0.12 percent, or 2.88 points, to 2,499.26.
