Tokyo stocks opened lower Friday, following falls on Wall Street as investors awaited the Bank of Japan to conclude its policy meeting. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index dropped 1.14 percent or 371.12 points to 32,199.91 in early trade, while the broader Topix index lost 0.87 percent, or 20.74 points, at 2,362.67.
